PURCHASING BUYER / PROCUREMENT Do you have outstanding communication and analytical skills with a background expertise in procurement and vendor management? Red Dot Buildings is in search of a prime candidate for a Purchasing Buyer and you could be a great fit. In the role of Purchasing Buyer at Red Dot, individuals play a crucial role in procuring all necessary materials for the fabrication of the company's buildings. The Buyer will fulfill the operational requirements of the company, considering factors such as price, quality, and timely delivery to maintain consistency in the supply chain. Key Responsibilities: • Review the scope of work, issued BOMs, and acknowledgments to guarantee delivery of materials. • Collaborate with the accounting department to resolve any discrepancies between ordered and billed materials. • Cultivate and maintain strong vendor relationships. • Foster productive working relationships within the purchasing department and across other departments within Red Dot. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: • A minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience is required. • While a bachelor's degree is preferred, relevant work history may suffice. • Prior experience in the pre-engineered metal building industry is advantageous, though not mandatory. WELDER Are you a skilled team player with problem solving skills who adheres to a high standard of quality? Red Dot is looking for a welder who is open to learning and growing with our industry-leading company. The welder will be expected to join, fabricate, and repair metal by executing welding tasks with precision, focusing on the welding of clips and connection plates in accordance with stringent AWS (American Welding Society) standards. The ideal candidate will bring technical knowledge and an innovative mindset to help fortify quality in our cutting-edge metal building systems. Key Responsibilities: • Execute welds in adherence to governing specifications, (such as AWS D1.1 and D1.3 specifications) to ensure compliance. • Inspect and approve proper fit-up procedures were followed prior to welding. • Follow weld maps meticulously and implement welds in alignment with Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) guidelines. • Proficiently operate cranes and lifting equipment to handle materials. • Utilize safe rigging practices for efficient material movement. • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all area-specific work procedures. • Adhere strictly to Red Dot Corporation policies, procedures, and guidelines. • Ensure full compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulatory standards. • Conduct thorough cleaning of beams post-welding, preparing them for entry into the paint shop. • Undertake special assignments and additional duties as needed. • Set up welding equipment, proper calibration, and conduct equipment maintenance as necessary. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, with demonstrated knowledge of math and or science. • Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding. INSIDE SALES MANAGER Are you a collaborative team player who is great with understanding customer needs and providing them with excellent service? Do you have outstanding communication skills and a detail-oriented mind that thrives in a fast-paced team environment? Red Dot is in search of the ideal Inside Sales Manager to add to our stellar sales team. As the technical advisor to the Outside Sales Manager, this role oversees the development of the scope of work for architectural projects, serving both Red Dot personnel and our valued customers. Key Responsibilities: • Generate project takeoffs and develop comprehensive job scopes based on drawings and specifications. • Compile quotes for special vendor pricing on buy-out items. • Respond promptly to all client and prospective client inquiries, furnishing precise and valuable information. • Generate and submit bids to customers as requested, ensuring meticulous accuracy and completeness. • Prepare presentation documents for customer meetings, incorporating schedules, sketches, and product data information as necessary. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: • Technical Associates Degree in Construction or Engineering related fields • Experience with MBS, AutoCAD, Tekla, and BlueBeam Minimum Qualifications: • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Pre-Engineered Metal Building, Construction, or a related construction field. • Proficiency in interpreting Architectural and Structural Drawings. • Outstanding communication and listening abilities, swiftly building credibility, and effectively conveying the value proposition. • Exceptional professional verbal and written communication skills. • Demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking and problem-solving. • Meticulous attention to detail and a dedicated commitment to meeting stringent project deadlines. • Capacity to maintain composure and effectiveness in challenging and high-pressure situations.
